You can use them, by warming them up in your hands and spreading the softened lotion on your skin, but my favorite way is to step out a steaming hot shower, towel down quickly, and spread the bar directly on your skin section at a time, working the lotion left behind, in with your hands. I love using these bars right before bed since I wake up with soft smooth skin with a gentle sweet orange and rose scent.
