***Limited Quantity Available ***
100% Ontario Linden Honey, pure, raw, & unpasteurized. Harvested in micro batches, it has a pleasant, sweet and fruity floral taste with notes of mint and apple. This honey often crystalizes more quickly but can be liquified again using the warm bath method.  Why is Linden Honey so special? Because the Linden or Basswood tree is notoriously fickle in producing nectar from its blooms, the conditions must be an ideal combination of hot and humid. When they bloom, the flowers produce abundant nectar and buzz with bees, giving them the nickname the ‘bee tree.’

Linden or Basswood honey is excellent for sweetening herbal tea, and pairs well with Camembert cheese, accompanied by green grapes, pecans, and a crusty baguette.  Try drizzling it over seared scallops or poached pears.

This honey has a very rich nutrient profile and long-proven medicinal properties and is well known for its anti-bacterial, expectorant, and anti-inflammatory properties.

Linden honey has often been used to treat sore throat, cold, flu, laryngitis, bronchitis, tracheitis, asthma, inflammation of the gastrointestinal tract, and kidney and gall diseases.
